London, 25/04/2014. London's activists have joined the global call to raise awareness of the plight of workers of the Yue Yuen factory in the Jiangxi province of China that supplies shoes to Adidas. Protesters gathered outside the flagship Oxford Street store of the German multinational corporation of sportswear in London to inform customers about the working conditions of the Chinese workers who have now been on strike for 2 weeks. Workers went on strike claiming that the company had been making them sign fake contracts and stealing social insurance payments for nearly 20 years.
