Rome, Italy. 18th Feb 2021. Today, the Trade Union Si Cobas, Potere Al Popolo Party, Rifondazione Comunista Party and other organizations of the non-parliamentarian Left held a rally (1.) in Piazza San Silvestro to protest against the new Italian Government led by the former President of the European Central Bank, BCE, Professor Mario Draghi (2. 3.). From the organisers Facebook event page: «[…] We call to mobilize male and female workers, the unemployed, the precarious, the students, the popular classes and all the associations and people who struggle, who do not want to stand by while a government that is directed expression of a united bosses front is ready to strike us with anti-people policies. It is time to join the fight against the government of banks and bosses: we will not pay for this crisis! […]». The demo ended peacefully, even though there were moments of tension between protesters and full riot gears police officers due to demonstrators aimed to march to the Parliament.<br />
