London, 12/10/2016. Today, London’s Colombian people gathered in Trafalgar Square to call for an end of the Colombian civil war and to demand for a prompt Peace agreement. From the organisers Facebook event page: <<[…] We are joining the tribute being held in Bogota this Wednesday, to all the victims that the Colombian conflict has left. From London we are also demanding #PeaceDealNow! We are inviting you to join #PazALaCalleUK (Peace to the streets) and bring some flowers and electric candles to support the Colombian peace process. […] We are joining the massive #MarchaDeLasFlores and this is their message: "We are inviting all citizens to join this exercise of empathy and solidarity towards the victims, our heroes of forgiveness. 3000 victims and 7000 indigenous people will come to Bogotá to demand for a prompt Peace agreement. And we want to receive them with honours. In alliance with ONIC (National Organization of Colombian Indigenous Peoples), some women organizations, the Unit of Victims and the student movement we'll do a human corridor from the Planetario to the Plaza de Bolívar. We will receive them with flowers and thousands of claps. They will be moving from the Universidad Nacional and the Centre of Memory and Reconciliation in the Calle 26. Because war is not an option anymore, this 12 of October we ALL say "FOR THE VICTIMS, PEACE DEAL NOW!">>.<br />
