Rome, Italy. 19th November, 2021. Today, thousands of State Schools students held a demonstration in Rome, and in several other cities across Italy, claiming that the actual school model is no longer able to respond to their needs, made out of an increasingly frontal and notional teaching and a more and more oppressive evaluation, which lead to lose very important moments of their sociality. In addition students protested against the structural lack of proper schools and spaces where to study, and transport to reach those places, a situation that has seriously worsened with the pandemic and almost two years of DAD (Didattica a distanza, distance learning via Internet). From a student's representative interview: «"We want a different way of School and teaching" that enhances the participation and active citizenship of young people. Enough with the stress of the old school, which "overwhelms us", loaded with homework. And also stop at time slots that cancel students' interests and extra-curricular activities. Speaking is one of the coordinators of the collective of the Liceo Virgilio, marching towards the Ministry of Education in viale Trastevere» (1.). The demonstration ended peacefully outside the Italian Ministry of Education (Ministero della Pubblica Istruzione, MIUR) in Trastevere district.<br />
