Rome, Italy, 10th November, 2021. Today, Metalworkers / Steelworkers (Metalmeccanici) of the Italian Trade Unions FIM, FIOM, IULM Nazionale, Ex Ilva and Jsw Piombino held a demonstration from Termini Railway Station to the MISE (Italian Ministry of Economic Development, Ministero Per Lo Sviluppo Economico) during their twenty-four-hour strike. Metalworkers called the Italian Government (1.) and the Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti (2.) to discuss with the Trade Unions about their sector's future and investments, to save jobs - protesters claimed there are 60,000 jobs at risk - , to decarbonise the Italian steel industry, to improve and convert productions finding the proper ways to protect and improve the environment, the health and welfare conditions.<br />
