London, 04/06/2016. Today, hundreds of people, including doctors, student nurses, midwives, junior doctors and other healthcare professionals marched from the Saint Thomas Hospital to the Department of Health in Whitehall to protest against the Conservative Government's plan to scrap bursaries for nursing and midwifery students from 2017. The demonstration was organised by the "NHS Bursary Cuts Forum" and supported by trade unions and other organizations fighting against the plan to privatise the NHS (National Health Service).<br />
